Why we are building TradeQuote
Small contractors need excellent proposals, not obscure pricing, bloated project suites, and a sales call before they can learn the cost.
The quote represents the work before the work begins
A client often decides how organised, trustworthy, and valuable a contractor feels before anyone arrives on site. The proposal is a large part of that decision. A clear scope and polished presentation reduce uncertainty. A confusing document or improvised spreadsheet creates it.
Small teams know this, but the tools available to them tend to sit at two extremes: very basic estimate apps or broad construction platforms carrying far more process and cost than a ten-person contractor needs.
Buying software should not begin with a negotiation
Pricing across the category can be obscure. Important capabilities appear in higher tiers, published numbers do not always reveal the real cost, and renewal changes are difficult to predict. Support can be similarly indirect, with bots and generic help content placed between a customer and a person.
TradeQuote focuses on winning the job
TradeQuote will make it fast to turn labour, materials, and scope into a professional proposal. Clients will be able to view, sign, and pay a deposit from their phone. Contractors will see which quote was viewed, which needs a follow-up, and which became work.
The product will publish its price and include human email support on every plan. There will be no chatbot and no “helpful” FAQ maze designed to deflect a real question.
Ten months buys the year
TradeQuote will cost $79 per month or $790 per year. People who join the launch list receive an email in Q4 2026 and their first month free. After that, choose month-to-month flexibility or the full year for the cost of ten months.
